Question: What are the advantages of working with a dental-specific IT provider?

Question: Is TechForce a replacement for my current IT provider?

A: Only if you want us to be. We offer flexible plans and services that can be tailored to your needs, so we can be as involved as much or as little as you like. We’re team players and are happy to work in tandem with your current IT person or be responsible for of all of your technology needs—whichever you prefer.

Question: Do I have to be a Darby customer to use TechForce?

A: No (although we’d love it if you were!). Darby TechForce is available to anyone who needs dental IT services.

Question: What are Managed Services?

A: Managed Services allow you to outsource specific technology oversight and maintenance to a specialized service provider (like TechForce). Think of us as your practice technology guru. Question: Why are Managed IT Services important?

A: Dental technology is evolving rapidly to allow dentists to provide patients with more efficient, effective, and comprehensive care than ever before. Those advances, while beneficial, come with potential pitfalls which can leave you and your practice vulnerable or cause you to spend precious time troubleshooting issues. Managed IT Services let you get back to practicing dentistry. With Darby TechForce in your corner, you’ll know you have a team of technology experts who understand dental. We’ve got you covered so you don’t have to worry about technology speed bumps slowing you down.

Question: If I outsource my IT support with TechForce, can I cancel my support contract with my software company (i.e. Dentrix)?

A: Your software company will still require you to have a support contract in order to get help with specific software features, remote training, and to receive system updates. We pick up where your software vendor support stops. For example, hardware issues, Microsoft patching, backup configuration and monitoring, anti-virus support, etc. With our ProTech+ and ProTech Complete packages, we’ll even communicate with your software company support team on your behalf to troubleshoot issues and to make sure updates and upgrades go off without a hitch. We’ll spend time on the phone with software support for you, so you can get back to your patients.
